Can you just imagine being there?

My Grandpa was there as well, stationed aboard the U.S.S. Nevada. Were ordered to run a ground so they didn't block the channel if they got hit, they were actually one of the ships that got underway. He got through all that chaos unscathed.

IF you ever get to HI, and visit Pearl, be sure to go to Ford Island and stand on Battleship Row and just imagine for one minute the hell those people endured.

Sadly he passed many yrs ago.
