Why won't it start?

Yesterday, I was doing my usual Tuesday afternoon drive to BC to pick up Sequoyah. On the way back down the crosstown freeway I heard what sounded like a rock getting flipped up by my tire and into a wheel well... Not thinking anything of it I continued. We pulled into that little strip mall at 24th and M st, and ate at Juicy Burger. After finishing up we get in the jeep to leave. My ignition sticks sometimes so I didn't think anything of it for the first few times I tried the key, but when I got under the jeep to jump start it with a screwdriver I found the obvious problem. The solenoid fell off the starter, and hit the UCA hence the rock sounding noise on the freeway. Pressed for time I took the core out of my spare solenoid and put it back together in a matter of minutes. I was only able to put one screw in it though since the bell housing was blocking all access to the other screw hole which also saved a screw from the incident also, so when I got home today I spent a few minutes taking the starter off and applying some good ol' Locktite 242 on both of the screws. What really grinds my gears about it is that this starter is only about 4 months old...

I was not that impressed with the place... They don't believe in bacon. The fries were pretty good. Other than that the only thing they had going for them was the cute chick running the register.
