M100: Day 1

I just picked up a M100 trailer, SN# 01164958, for $400. I wanted an M416 but most people seem to think their 1/4 ton trailers are made of gold and used to haul the Queen around so I had to take what I could get. The trailer will primarily be used as an off road/camping trailer behind the XJ. I'm an ridiculously excited about this project and couldn't wait to share. The trailer is actually in pretty good shape. A few bumps and bruises and just surface cancer. I'll keep you guys updated.

I've wanted one ever since I got a jeep. I don't exactly know what I should look for though. I know of the M100 and the M416, but other than that I usually just put "jeep trailer" in CL and see what pops up.

I don't think I'm going to go totally haywire. I'll keep it conservative. New axle, rtt, batteries, solar panel, water tank, ARB cooler.....the usual.

needs to have the floor re done and pretty bad rust. also no rear tail gate. I just want to get rid of it. It does have oem rims and non directional tires though. It would be a great project but I dont have the time for it nor the need.
