CB Channel 4 sucks!!!

It's too close to channel 6 which is used for guys using illegal high powered amps and causes a lot of bleed thru to channel 4!!! Is there any way to vote and get the channel changed?

There is no set channel.... switch based upon conditions.

That guy is preaching the good word... Yea just speak up when you're on a run and get people to agree on a different channel, or you could get a 2m like all the cool kids are doing.

IOR runs channel 4 as primary (because we are a [b][size=150]4[/size][/b] wheel drive club)

We use channel 16 as a back-up (because 4x4 = 16).

Sometimes both are too crowded and we use something else. Sometimes, at places like the Rubicon, every channel is too crowded. Such is the drawback of CB.

We are defiantly not stuck on one channel. The Nazi that has been broadcasting on 6 in Frazier Park for the last month is a good reason to use 16. Often 16 can be bad from truckers blasting 1000watts out on 19. Just request a move to another channel, no problem.

Cool cool. Ya we get bleed thru up on freeway ridge. But ya good to know about 16 and people willing to change channels. Thanks.
