Ultra4 stampede Prairie City SVRA
Posted: April 8th, 2013, 2:06 pmPretty cool race, and weekend for the most part. Once again I was helping out Richard and Cal with the petty cash/NAXJA 4643 car. Richard's laid back driving was the real way to go about it in the stock class. Our closest competitors pushed it too hard too early and broke. The 4x4him cherokee broken an upper shock mount early in the race. They fought to get back out on the track and then broke the other side a lap later. They drove on it as such to the finish.
Lost my train of thought because I noticed something was up in my aquarium. Had to run to the store and get some chemicals.
Anyway we won.
BTW. that place sucked. 15 mph speed limits wherever you go. Not fun when you're driving around the race winning car after everything was all said and done.
