I have an 89 and the brake line fitting bolts up to the front part of the caliper next to the axle side and well the brake line has a Bent tube That goes from the front of the caliper and bends back towards the cab before it turns to a hose and up to the other hard line.

I got brake lines from crown performance and they don't have the same bend as my stock ones, can I swap in a set of newer calipers that have the brake line mount on the side or will there be any issues putting in a different set?

Never tried it, but most likely it will work. If they bolt up, which they should, they'll most likely work.

Thanks, I was actually able to route the brake line straight up and over, it seems like it is staying clear of all moving parts
