Wiper blades barely touching windshield

I recently had to replace my windshield after being cracked from a rock. After the new windshield had been replaced I noticed that my windshield wipers are barely touching the windshield. Does anyone have any suggestions. I went out and bought new blades that's didn't help much. Is there a specific way I can adjust the wiper arms? Or was the windshield not installed properly?

Could be a few things;

1) Wrong blades - or the blades installed wrong - clips wrong

2) Windshield installer bent the wiper arms while removing the window.

3) Windshield installer removed the wiper arms during the install, but placed them back on the splines wrong when he put them back on.

Even with the original blades that were on before weren't touching after the replacement window, so I bought new blades just to be safe. So should I just bend the arms a little bit??

It will work if the arms are bent. If not, then the window guy didn't put the arms on the splines right or may have not tightened them down properly so they slip on the splines. I would clock the arms in a notch or two on the splines and make sure they are down on the shaft all the way.

Basically, the installer has to get the arms out of the way to do the job. A real pro will take the arms off and put them back on properly. A noob will do a hack job, and might even leave the arms on and bend them.
