Ok I have heard horror stories for the 2012 JK when changing tire size and gears with the ESP and other things. I don't feel I need to get a bigtime performance chip programmer or anything. The two things that I have found that correct everything that I can see are the AEV Procal Module and the Superchips Flash pac.
Is anyone running these? Pros/Cons?

Have they updated the Superchips for 2012's yet? I didnt think they had cracked the code yet. I thought the Diablo Sport (but its like $500) was the only one to crack it for 2011's but Im not sure if theyve done it for the 2012s/13s. As far as I know the AEV is the only one that works on all of them.

Looks like Bullydog has cracked it now so you might want to look at them.

I know the AEV ProCal works, don't know if any others work now. I have one at G&G.

Do any of the programmers allow you to shut off the airbags when offroad? I have heard of a few going off with no reason other than costing the owner a couple grand to replace.

I don't know how many of us have air bags anymore.
I don't think you can because it has a separate computer all on its own for safety.

Remove the airbags or disconnect them is all you can do for this I believe.

Hmm. Or you could get an FJ that has the disconnect switch. I haven't looked at how difficult it would be to disconnect and reconnect the airbags in the newer Jks.
