Thought i would share a few pictures of my CJ5.
1975 CJ5
258 Straight 6
d44 rear w/limited slip 4.27 gears
d27 front
All stock

When i was 16 i bought my Jeep off my dad for $1500.00. The paint was so faded so me and my cousin would put trany fluid on it to make it look new :lol2:

My dad took it back and gave me a 2wd toyota because he needed 4wd at the time for winter. He blew it up and said he was going to fix it for many years. Finally i got it back when i was 27 to start a frame off resto.

What kind of tranny did those have? 4 speed? Man with 4.27s and granny gear youd have a bitchin final for a CJ.

That is a cool project. My Dad and I restored a CJ-7 a few years ago, but not to the extent you are going. Was a lot of fun. Keep the updates coming!
