MFDD-2 and Bigfoot

Postby Desert Dog » January 24th, 2013, 8:31 am

December and January seems to be the time every year where members tear their junk apart and upgrade or get it ready to take a beating for another year. This year, I was no exception.

First, since I am pretty much done building the JK, I decided to direct my attention to completing Bigfoot'd TJ. Finished build:
35" MTRs
Genright rear bumper Plate.
T&T Tire carrier
Genright armore, fenders, and sliders.
Currie front bumper
Atlas 4.3
RK X-factor 5.5" long arm lift
Rear stretched 4"
Genright gas tank and skid
Front D44 with poly sleeves and Detroit locker
Currie Steering
Rear D44 with disc brakes and Detroit Locker
4.88 gears
12" King Coilovers (old ones from my JK)
Custom installed coilover mounting by G&G (they did a fantastic job)
Performance Industries 1310 drive shafts
Chrome moly axle shafts
AirRaid CAI
Gibson Header
4.0 Throttle body
Rock Hard cage
Warn M8000 winch
Rigid Industries D2 lights
Best Top TrekTop
Custom Sub box with two 10" JL Audio subs
Cobra CB with firestick antenna

This thing is a little beast off-road. G&G did an awsome job getting the coilovers to perform perfectly!

Also, I got a good deal on an old XRRA buggy a couple months ago. It was in pretty rough shape and most of the good stuff was ripped off of it and sold, so I got it as a fixer-upper. Slowly but surely, I am making progress. Got the ram rebuilt, sorted out all of the electrical issues, put on some new skins and got a $30 hood from the junk yard, new tires and wheels, lights, a winch, and countless other little things. The axles are getting new shafts, lockers, and knuckles. The Atlas and ORIs probably won't be in until next month. I also have quite a bit of tube-work to do. But its looking focking awesome so far!
