Made a kick ass way to carry my tools and spare parts.

My tool bag was really hard to get strapped down correctly because it spreads out and has no defined shape. When I strapped the tool bag down, the straps took up too much space and the whole affair looked like shit.

Sooo, I pulled out a couple of old ammo cans. Fit all of my tools in one, spare parts in the other, and painted them to match the buggy. I added some hooks to the bottom of the storage bin, fabbed up a keeper bar with a rubber pad on the bottom, and installed a couple of heavy-duty turnbuckles. Whalllaaa....secure tools and parts that are easy to get to, and doesn't look like shit.

Next, I need to add spare fluids carrier.

I have the following in that small ammo box on the buggy:
* spare u-joint and straps
* Spare steering heim
* Spare fuel filter
* Spare serpentine belt
* Spare suspension bolt
* spare shock bolt
* Spare drive line bolts
* Spare brake line
* spare hydraulic hose fiitings; one straight and one 90
* Spare hose clamps
* Electrical tape
* Electrical connectors
* fuses
* spare valve stem
* Spare pushlock fittings
* Spare barb connectors
* small roll of baling wire
* zip ties
* Tube of epoxy patch
* tube of black RTV

But, I carry this badass parts bin in the tow rig with drivelines, spare control arm, water pump, fuel pump, alternator, steering pump, full hydro hose kit, thermostat and housing, radiator hoses, spare throttle body, and basically everything! its on wheels and easy to load:

Been a Long time since I added to this post, so here goes....

As buggies have grown more badass the last few years, and trails are getting more and more extreme, I finally gave in and went to sticky tires. 42" Maxxis Trep competition compound.

Then, my tired old 383 stroker wasn't holding good oil pressure and was a little down on power to turn the new 42" stickies. SOOOO a new 383 Stroker, all forged/roller, and powered by Holley EFI was installed. MAN what a HUGE difference!

Buggy seems to be tuned well and ready for Utah next week!
