thanks DD,,,, on sunday we opened a can of worms
with the front end. the link "KIT" isn't gonna work out
as per plan. the truck came factory 4 speed, now its 5
plus the 2 transfer cases, so the cross member couldn't
be in a worse place

small set back really,,,,,,, i just want something to go
smooth for once.

hold the date back as long as you can,, i always wanted to go to those "top secret" trails over there
,, i gotta do some "break in" runs on this thing. no load-no stress on the new gears front and rear. didn't get alot done this weekend, my crew was a "no show" except my bro. and next saturday, i have family coming up. hopefully i'll work on my limit straps and some welding*** gotta get SOMETHING done no matter who gets pissed (wife)

next weekend: finish front tubing, fill the new axle housings with the new shafts, bearings, seals, and 3rds
run fuel lines, brake lines, and hydro steering lines, oh and ,,, get the drive lines ordered

anybody really happy with a drive line shop in bakersfield???

didn't get as far as i wanted to, but,, a little more progress
brake lines, harnesses, a little electrical, and drive lines, that's
all that's left to do (sort of)

P.S. becca mentioned redneck engineering in her post
i engineered my own muffler for this thing.
took some chrome 6in. big rig exhaust tube and cut in to
4 in. sections and added deflectors, baffles, and some "twisty things" (top secret)
then welded it back together,,,,, we'll see.
you know flowmaster, and the others had to start somewhere
