Well I am hoping I can get the majority of this project done by Veterans Day

I told my wife(girlfriend at the time) before the parade started that I need to do something better for next years parade, I told her i wanted to paint my XJ desert camo, so the slow progress began:

A Few Good Men went on a run out to Calico for a run I put together called The Armed Forces Day Run and we had a blast, we had plenty of damage on that run, including me.

I got stuck here for a little bit:

a little later after Chris finally got off this little rock, I went over the rock pretty easy, but I got a little bit more door damage:

I had talked to Rigo the week before this run and he had a door to replace on the other side that was damaged before, so I text him when I got back to see if I could get all the doors, he hooked me up!!

So I thought I was ready for some major make over, me and Larry cut most of the EXO off:

I used a grinder and got rid of all the attachment points and primered the bare steel:

then I replaced all the doors:

then after a few moths of not doing anything I finally had Rigo do some body work, this guy kows what he is doing, and made it look so easy:

Rigo got one side done, hopefully he can get the other side done soon and get this done by parade time, next weekend I have an appointment to get my tire carrier done, it is all coming together, I can't wait!!!

Started with a JK Rock Hard tire carrier I got from Victor:

Hey harry the spindle you got is it the stock spindle that comes on the bumper? Are the insides pretty beefy? in other words will they last?

yeah, I got it from Rock Hard (you know, the way you like it), same size all the way down, we made sure it was supported top and bottom, pretty beefy

Good so itll last me and you a while. So youll be able to carry your walker and your rascal mobility scooter on the swing out without a worry. Next up we need to you an automatic ramp for your wheel chair on that Cherokee.
