Zak got a new rig.....and Katie got her own TJ!!!

I picked up a 2000 TJ with 6" lift, high fender kit, auto, 4.0L and a/c......needed something a little more built for me than the 97 4-banger TJ. Katie will be cruising that around town and on the lighter trails for now. It'll be a good starter rig for her so that when she does get her JK unlimited.....she won't be as likely to destroy it (she's still a woman driver, though....so it's doomed) Hopefully we'll be bringing both to Calico, and she can wheel too.

I need gears in the 2000 pretty bad. Its got 35's and 3.07 gears. Does ok in 4 low, but would really go well with some 4.88's. Anybody that knows how to do gears (and I mean properly) interested in teaching me? I'd be willing to pay for your time.

Heres a pic!

Awesome rig. Get some sliders on it before going to Calico though.

I have a slider on the passenger side. LOL. The guy built one for the passenger side, but sold it before he finished the driver's side one. Luckily its made out of 2x4" angle iron, so easy to fix. I've got nerf bars on the little TJ, they held up great as sliders at Jawbone. lol

I'll be talking to Richard at the M&G on Thursday. Looking forward to it. I met him at the last M&G. Nice guy. I did a carrier R&R on my 91 YJ a few years back, and it turned out ok. Just did it by feel. Hopefully its still going. It had to stand up to the 4.7L stroker engine, which was awesome by the way. I used to kill the little rice cars all day long. Until u-joints would break and the driveline would go flying out at them. Eat your heart out, James Bond.

Anyway, both TJ's are having heater blower issues, so I get to hunt down the resistor and switches in both. Fun Fun.

Zak, when you're ready, let me give you a real quote on the gears. BTY, we use Motive Gears.
