2012 Dozer @ Death Valley

Postby xjrguy » October 17th, 2011, 10:12 am

I promised pics of my 2012 JKU so here are some on a recent excursion.

Took a trip to Death Valley last weekend with a buddy from the Raptor forum I am on.

Was going to take the truck, but figured I'd try the Jeep out for the first time off road.

Pics are from a vista near Lake Manix.

Here is what it looks like now.

Full of AEV products and some other stuff.

5160 reservoir shocks, 37 inch tires, etc.

I did all the wrenching and installation myself in my garage saving around $4000 in labor all in.

Everything took about 40 hours to install total. Had two pallets of product delivered to my house from Northridge 4x4 around Thanksgiving :wings:

License plate frame says "Real Jeeps are Built, not Bought"

Hope to see you all up in Gorman this weekend.

Just ran Mojave Road this past weekend. That was a blast.

Nice overlander man, did you have to use spacers with the pintlers?

Hi and thank you, no spacers were necessary with my config.
