Another Deuce for the club......

So, the Deuce on 53's sold. Turns out these things can be somewhat profitable if the costs are controlled. I decided to buy another one. This time I got the A3 version...

Main differences from the A2 are:
Power steering
Cat 3116 Diesel with 50 more hp than A2
Allison 4 speed auto trans
Central Tire Inflation System (if it works)
Super single radial tires
Insulated hood and cab
stock muffler for much less noise
I'm sure there are others

Anyway, this one will likely remain 6x6 and possibly go on 46" tires. Which means I'll have some 42" michelin XL's for sale, for 20 inch rims. These things are bulletproof (almost).

Looking forward to getting her set up and on the road. Look for me!

Here is a pre-paint pic.

Nice, indeed! When you going to make an outrageous one that you're going to keep?

I plan to make the wild one later on down the road, when I can afford to keep one....right now they are for profit, but in the future....probably an A3 on 46's, still 6x6 and then I can fit a Jeep or Samurai in the bed, and pull my little ghetto toy hauler behind it. These trucks are awesome though, tough as nails.

LOL if you find one with the bumper no#s B111 37th ENG BN it was mine back in the day. Had a dump bed on it. CTIS worked really well. Truck sucked in the mud. It was a godsend over the Duece's and 5 tons we had previous to them.
