Got this for my baby boy. :lol3: Between his stroller, his play pen, his many diaper bags and other miscellaneous baby stuff there is very little room if any for anything trail related. So I got this base and i am having a basket custom made for it, the Body Armor basket is pretty small and weak looking. It does make the Jeep a lil weird looking tough but weird looking. Let me know what you guys think.

looks lika a jungle gym for the kids at the next meet & greet :lol3:

there's nothing like a nice rack :yup:

poly performance makes one that fits between the roll bar behind the back seat if you need more rackage (i just made that word up)

with all those cross bars it looks like you could use the base as a rack :dontknow:
can you take it off when you want or does it stay on there?

i need you to go on the rubicon run with us so you can cary all of our gear
but seriously it looks like you can cary alot of stuff on that rack, plus the extra room that a 4 door has over the 2 door.

what else you got planned for your jeep?
looking good :Thumb:

I so said the same thing about it looking like a Jungle Gym.    as far as the basket im getting one custom made, the Body Armor basket does not have brackets for tools or a hi-lift its just a plain basket. Im also planning on putting an onboard air system on the basket with two hoses being run down on each side of the rack base tubes that go on the windshield with two quick disconnects for the hoses on the bottom of the tube to where i can just attach a nozzle and air up my tires. The rack has 4 brackets for 4 lights up front and 2 in the rear. Once I get all the electrical setup it will have disconnects to where when i do need to remove the upper part to switch out softop or hard top itll make it easier and i wont be doing this later :banghead: . Also I did look into the rack that goes on the cargo area of the jeep, I would consider it but with all the stuff that i have to carry for my baby boy at times it wouldnt be enough for anything else. I use the Jeep for everything, we took a trip to san francisco and it was a pain with his stroller, his diaper bags, his toys, his play pen, in the end we had no room. And yes I need a rear bumper, my spare tire is coming in tomorrow :wings: , and my basket should be delivered sometime this week :wings: :wings: :wings: .

Victor... I bet one of those expedition tents would be bad ass on the jungle gym.

I was looking at a tent setup, I dont think it would be too difficult to do, I would not want to spend the grand on one premade.

Tent my ass; you could throw a king-sized mattress on top of that thing and shag under the stars :Thumb:
