What are trail requirements on it?

I get to hear some of the reasons why these trails are kept secret thanks to knowing a few of the URF people. I think that good things happen to those that wait and you oughto just drop it. Just know that they must be pretty tough if Richard was the trail tampon on their last trip.

Ok. Go find it. I'm sure it won't take much. I've got a few spots marked on google earth where I think they might be.

we aren't looking for B.S. or drama,,, we are just looking for bad ass wheelin
and we heard the rumors of just such a place in this area.
this is not private land, but,, to a certain extent, i understand "some" level
of secrecy. i guess what bothers me most is being teased that this place exists
but i can't go.

peace out :salute:

That's the kind of thinking I'd like to see on this. I'm sure there would be no beef if you find them on your own, but don't pressure someone into taking you out there. A few of the URF gang were calling Goatman "GMFU" after taking chris out there. I know a few others of URF have taken people out there as guests, but nothing was really said to them so it's just a blatant double standard. Certainly you don't want to burn any bridges with these people.

I just don't see any reason to piss these people off.... I know it's public land so it's not as if they have any authority over it, but I can imagine the shit storm of stories they can make up about infectious.

I wasn't thinking of impressing anyone. I just don't want to step on people's toes. I mean Richard and Chris know where the trails are. Say you find the trails, and post up a bunch of pictures from the weekend. Then that catches wind back to URF and who would they blame for leading us to the trails? Richard or Chris.

I'm not trying to police what you guys do out there. Just be smart about what you say and to whom you're saying it to because it can come back to affect others.

Travis I completely understand!! I have trails I ride that aren't illegal but aren't very well known either. We like to keep it that way. Seems like once they go public and all over forums with GPS cords they get shut down. I have no problem takin friends on these trails, takin pics and posting them up, but don't broadcast all over the net where you took the pics or that'll be the last secret trip you get invited on. Keep the location to yourself. It's not about being a snob. It's about protecting the good trails and sharing them with friends that you know will respect the trail and land by not destroying it or littering it up. I look forward to finding these similar trails in my jeep. Pretty sure Sammy, Matt, Arron, and a few others found one at Gorman and called it Sammy's crack. Lol or at least that's who I think found it.

Why would it piss people off....Its not there trail or land..... If its such a big secret why share it all over the web where its more easier for us to find it. Every club hates on us anyways so whats the big deal if we do find the trails and post pictures and directions .... its just going to make us more FAMOUS :suprise:

Trails made public will eventually get regulated. Look at the whole dez and nightmare gulch for example. Some of the best trails I rode on 10 yrs ago now have red flags in front of them. This thread is getting completely off topic. Hope I can get some time off. I'd love to wheel out there!!

Well it doesn't matter to me if you go out there or not. Like I said i'm not trying to police you guys from doing what you do, nor am I worshiping these people. Hell if a full bodied rig could go without coming back a half bodied rig I'd go. I might still help you find them. I'm just on a more conservative side of this. I just don't want to see any unwanted drama :hitfan: fall back on anyone.
