I am wantin to do a jawbone run sept 24 (maiden voyage)
My idea is this, I want to run up last chance kind of early morningish check out burro Schmidt and bickel camp and anything else that's up here (my girls first time seeing this stuff) and depart out nightmare gulch if there is time. If not we can depart ep15 to hwy 14.
As for rig requirements, if you take the high roads in some places, last chance you can come up in a bone stock rig. Nightmare gulch Im not sure, I did it with a 4" lift 235/75/15's and open diffs with no body damage or tugs needed. These trails are great for beginners to get started on.
I don't reccomend full width vehicles to try nightmare gulch, last time through a pretty blue FJ had to squeeze threw some rocks
I'm wanting to go up Saturday so if anyone wants to camp out and the weathers good we can stay there depending on what responses I get on here. For now it looks like a day trip. But depending on everyone things can change
