making yj sliders
Posted: November 6th, 2011, 8:49 pmthinking about making some sliders for my yj, anyone have any there proud of i might be able to copy, thinking about somthing with a step so my wife can get in the jeep

thanksI am proud of my homemade sliders on the yj...
feel free to copy them. Ill look for some pics of when i built them but was fairly simple.
3/16" plate, welded at 90* angle, bolted to side of jeep and underneath goes to bodymounts.
put a small step on side for kids to climb in.
was fairly cheap to make them too, about 60$ in steel and some consumables.
we could also plan on building them on the next garage day.
