Dusy in Oct

A friend of mine from down south is planning a run on Dusy-Irsham the second weekend in Oct.

Any thoughts, tips, suugestions for a noob on this trail?
We're gonna need a bigger boat!!

Don't be surprised if you get snowed on. it can snow there anytime starting the beginning of October. Friends of mine a few years ago almost got snowed in during the same time period.

Take warm clothes and a good sleeping bag. Go over your Jeep with a fine tooth comb before the trip, Dusy has a way of finding anything that hasn't had good enough maintenance, including loose bolts. Great trail, great scenery. Have fun. :mrgreen:
