c-train moving over rough road help.

Postby 74Quadravan » July 12th, 2015, 9:07 am

Hi all, A friend of mine bought (3) 20' c-trains. He had them delivered to some mountain property he recently purchased. The driver refused to take them the last 5 miles. He took the first one to within a mile and wouldnt go further, then turned around and took it back to the others.
We drove the road yesterday with a dually 1 ton chevy flatbed 2WD with street tires. It is rough and several tight corners, switch back style but nothing impassable.
Does anyone have experience with moving c-trains or know of a good moving company near Bakersfield Ca.
A trailer is an option but some of the road is narrow and three point turns would be needed.
Thanks.

Put skids on them and get an M35A2 to just drag em up.

That chinook ended at just over 3 million, you should have bought 2 at that price. Lol
