I just want to thank all of you here, that have served our Country. The sacrifices that you have made to protect us is so unimaginable.
Thank you

I would like to thank all the Brothers and Sisters of the US Military of past, present and future for keeping America free. I would also like to thank all the families that supported us especially in time of need. Too many have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, some paid the price years and even decades before the pain finally stopped and their families are paying for it now and feeling the pain.
Veterans day means a lot to me, I served 8 years active duty in the US Army and 11 years in the US Army Reserves, I was deployed to Iraq 3 times, Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom 2 times, both wars I was there for the actual ground war, what you see on TV or read in the news paper is really only half the story, there is no way I will ever compare my experiences to wars or conflicts of past. I went to war, I did my job to best of my ability and I am proud to have served and do my part to keep freedom free. :salute:

SGT Franco,
The thought of slipping on a set of heavy starched BDU's, you know the one's the pockets wont open with out cracking, creases so sharp they cut you...... makes me a little misty eyed. Harry, it's the guys like you and the ones before you that made that uniform and the ARMY such an honor to be a part of. You answered the call several times, in at least one case just so someone else wouldn't have to go. That's putting others before yourself, self sacrifice. It's an honor to have worn the same uniform, and a pleasure to call you a friend.
Enjoy the day Harry, you earned it.

Thanks James, it is people like you that make Veteans proud for what they have done. I also think things happen for a reason, and one thing that has happend lately is that you and your family are back in my life, and you don't know how happy I am for that, thanks again James for the kind words!!
