Well, after getting laid off in Mar of '09, it's time I did something to make a living. I can't travel around and race and wheel forever without doing some work (I sure have a wonderful wife).

I have partnered with my good friend Eric, who is an ASE Master Tech and has been wrenching on my Jeeps for 15 years, and we are opening G&G Auto Repair/G&G Off Road. We'll do most kinds of auto and truck service and repair, as well as work on Jeeps and 4x4's. We can do lift kits, stretch kits, gears and lockers, custom axles, custom suspension work, install accessories, pretty much anything on a 4x4. We will also service and repair cars and trucks, like brakes, A/C, check engine lights, whatever. We are a dealer for Transamerica Wholesale, so we can sell anything that 4Wheelparts carries. If you live in the NW and need to get something from 4WP, stop by and we'll save you a trip to the Automall.

We're just getting started, and have plenty to do yet to get fully up to speed on everything we want to do, but we are open and working on vehicles. Our goal is to offer quality work on your 4x4 by folks that actually wheel and have many years of experience building off road vehicles. Stop by and say hi.

Thanks guys. We'll do our best to provide good quality work, whatever it is. Between the two of us we have 52 years of automotive experience (damn, is someone getting old?), so hopefully over time we'll develop a reputation of being a good place to get work done.

Plus, all of my wheeling expenses are tax deductible..... :wings:

Awsome Richard!!!

I'll be saving some gas money now that I don't have to drive all the way out to the auto mall.

I'm gonna have to stop by & say hi, I'm always in that part of town.

Found the facebook page for the shop too :Thumb:

We're going to have a Grand Opening and play day on Sat Sept 11. We'd like to invite the local clubs and wheelers out to display their rigs, smash a few cars, and probably have a club jeep stacking contest (have to figure that one out). Lunch will be provided. Plus, I'm working on some other obstacles to play on. It should be a fun time.
