We need to go to this and represent, even the Ventura guys are not to far away from there, we should go, hang the banner, get some G&G swag to show everyone if they are in B-Town they have a place to get repairs or parts.
So what do you guys think?

I am going to Frisco that weekend (anti-metro pride parade; we stand for gays and straights, no middle ground allowed in california!).
If the timing works out.... might have to stop here and say hi to my friends at Poly. If there are some Infectious members to share some coke with.... sweet beans!

thats the last place I staggered out of the last 2 times down there. Interesting mix of folks, and good live music. I get a room right down the street so no driving involved.

Who wants to go?
I may be able to get the day off to travel up for the weekend. Do you guys want to try and make a big showing of Infectious rigs?

I get a great deal on the condo cause I know someone at the rental company. Its a 3 bedroom multistory condo that sleeps at least 8. 2 bedrooms have queen beds and the 3rd bedroom has 2 smaller beds. And it has an air hockey table. It also has a couch in the living room that folds out into a queen bed. Its within walking distance of bars and pier. Total cost is $700 for 2 nights (2 night minimum).
I will pay $350 of the cost and get the master bedroom. If we can get enough people together to make up for the other $350, I will reserve it. I need to reserve it by Monday afternoon, if not enough folks commit by then, I will go ahead and attend a b-day party I was invited to on that weekend. If we get enough folks, the run-master, Harry, can start a run thread.

So... a sausage fest in the condo, walking distance from the bars.
Can't wait to hear the stories that are created. I can imagine DD's video's title will be, "The SLO Rape Condo. ~~ another Desert Dog Production!"

Dude... the tie rod is an easy install. Pull the tire, remove the pin, loosen the bolt, and pound the knuckle till the TRE pops loose. Slide the new one in, tighten, add the pin, and put the wheel back on. Easy as pie. You can use the existing tie rod to get the length in the right ball park while both are off the Jeep.... but will want to adjust your toe while it is installed. You can now thank yourself for buying the PP piece, as it is adjustable on the heep.

Also... if you want them to install anything (they don't usually do that kind of thing), you can get Drew to do it on the weekend if he is free. Not sure what he charges, but he is a top notch welder and designs all their shit, so I'd trust he is probably the best installer in town.
Then again... you live in Bako. Call Richard if you need some install work done. He's a member of the club and has a shop in town (as I am sure you already know).

Actually it's easier than that, no cotter pin on the stock tie rod ends.
Just like Brad said, loosen the nuts for the tie rod but don't take them off. Hit them with a BFH til they drop and then take the nuts off. I used the stock tie rod to get in the ball park as far as the toe goes. It really is an easy install, if you need a hand this weekend let me know.
