An offer for a new Place for Meet and greets

Hey guys and gals,

Some of you might know I use to help out at Replay Lounge and Grill. I have a bunch a buddies still there. One of the Head guys mentioned to me that they would like to host a Meet and Greet for us. They are willing to give us happy hour prices for food and drinks all night until either we leave or 2 am. Even during the week. They are going to start having Beer Pong tourneys on Wednesday and other then that they are usually prett slow Monday - Thursday. I know alot of you like Chuys for the free chips, so I am going to talk with Phil and see if they will toss those in for us. He is going to email me today the Happy hour menu so I can upload it on here for you guys but just a sample for you guys is domestic beers are 2 bucks and apps start at 3 bucks. And as long as you tip well my bartender buddies will always hook us up with drinks. They hand make all of their Mixed drinks, unlike some places that use premixes for things like Audios MFs and Magaritas. If you guys want we can also host anything with them and even have some of the local Radio stations there. 94.1 is always doing stuff there and we have a good relationship with some of the djs. Just a thought. This could really get IOR some great publicity...

Here are some pics of the place....

During the week it is a Resturant and Bar. They have a night club on the weekends. And it is not classy during the week. I go there all the time in oil covered clothes and get a burger. Plus you won't have to yell over other peoples conversations like you have to at chuys. And they have a million tv's that play any game that maybe on at that time. Last night we watched the lakers game while I ate nachos and drank. LOL It is a really cool place to hang out. And with the cheap prices of food You can't beat it. Cheaper than chuys...

Yes, monday - thursday it is a Bar and Grill just like applebees or chuys... It is cheap and they are making us a deal.. Kids are welcome, Most likely we will be the only people there. They make most of their money from European tourists and on the weekends. By the way their food is fucking bomb. I had nachos last night and it was great.

If we get a lot of people in our group there I will most likely be working be hind the bar..

it is on Buck Owens... And like I said.... During the week it is not fancy... You can wear whatever you want, and they do have an outside smoking area where you can take your drinks, lots of seating, and probably not busy at all..

I went there once, a couple years ago to watch the super bowl with some friends, unless their prices have changed, and the portions have gotten bigger then it really isn't a great place to have a meet and greet, location isn't all that great either, their is no exposure for our vehicles, and if we were the only ones there it wouldn't really be that fun, at chuy's we have gotten new members that happen to be there, also we are always outside so as far as talking over a loud crowed is a problem, it is our loud crowed we are talking over, I am sure there are alot of people that drive by Chuy's and say "look at those bad ass rigs over there, I wish I knew who they are so i could hang out with them" at Replay we would have the CHP waiting for us to leave and say "nice rig, license, registration and proof of insurance please" :yup: CHP is just on the next block :yup: I also found the people there at Replay to be kinda stuck up, at least at Chuy's if you say hi to someone, the will say hello back, instead of being looked at like you don't have enough $$ for me.

Hey now I have a lot of good friends that work there including the owners. When the Night Club is open on the weekends they are extremely strict on the dress code. They feel that if you make people wear nice attire than you will cut out some of the rift raft. And even with them being slow during the week they still make in excess to 2 million a year. It is a classy place for a club. And they get a lot of big name celebs in there. So they want everyone dressed to impress.. I tell you what Jeff I'll take you in and get you the works and show you that it is a badass place..

Also, This is a suggestion. We should try and go other places. Monotony is boring, I like new things and new places. I can get us a big hook up at that place. It would end up being cheaper than us eating and drinking at Chuys. We don't need to have our meets at the same place, same time, same prices. Why not change it up a bit. And as for the CHP, they don't camp there. That is their office and We have a great relationship with them.. I've seen some of those guys walk in and have a beer while on duty and just shoot the shit with us.

Well I wont be going there, last meet & greet Coronas were only $2, can't really beat that, and their tri tip sandwich is pretty good and is alway on sale on thursday, plus they have a really good menue, there is no way Reply will compare to Chuy's for an Off Road group to hang out, it is family friendly and it easy to get to, if it were to be somewhere else, I think someplace with the sports bar type theme is the only place to go not a lounge/bar and grill

Well, I bet the low life Vattos and gang bangers have slacks. Dont they wear dickys anyway? I did go there there once when I was single. I had 4 girls with me and we got bottle service. Ended up really wild, That story is for the Infected room. Whatever, I will never go there again though. I go to those places in Vegas. I dont dress up to go out in town. I know they are your friends so I will be kinda nice.

Like I said before, this was just an idea... It is good to have some change every once and a while.. Just like Professor Jk's post about Ethel's... That place has good food and it was just kind of ignored.... We should try new things as a club different events, meeting places, that kind of thing....

we've tried other places, we've thought about other places, and we've voted on other places. i'm all for having the meet & greet somewhere other than chuy's but it has to have everything chuy's offers and the number one thing chuy's offers is exposure. :yup:
we tried sonic on rosedale (first meet & greet and it was a great turn out)
papa o's on coffee (not a bad turn out either)
moo creamery (umm bacon ice cream? maybe 8 rigs showed up)
legnthwise (no exposure, full traction showed up with 5 rigs but only be cause it was around the corner from their shop/ on their way home)
4 wheel parts (some of our best meet & greets)

chuys is by far the best location for exposure especially when Dale puts up the banner, we've picked up quite a few new members by having the meet & greets at chuys.
and like i said before :suprise: DAMN THAT GIRL HAS BIG, i mean if there is a place with great exposure, great food & drinks, and kid friendly then i'm all for it but there should be a poll posted if someone wants to suggest another place for the meet & greets. thats why we are having the meet & greets at chuys, a poll was posted and chuys was voted the place to have our meet & greets

:thefinger:

i still want to have a meet & greet at a park on a busy street like that one on white lane and do burgers & hot dogs, maybe in the summer when we have more day light and i'm sure the kids would love to have a playground to play on. might have to get a beer permit but i've suggested a park a couple of times.

Yep, Thursdays are $2 Corona days - keeps me coming to the M&Gs. Great group exposure, great central location for all members around town, decent cheap food, no LE harassment, kid friendly, and did I mention $2 Coronas?

The only thing I don't like about Chuy's is the fact that we don't get to park together. Exposure would be MUCH better if they let us line up our rigs and fly the Infectious banner. But thats a problem you are going to have at most busy places anyway.

You would think by now that Chuy's would cut us some slack and rope off the street side parking just for us on out monthly M&G. We are there almost every month.
