just their website? or whole business? should call buddy that is dealer for them in washington and see what the deal is. they do have some very good leaf spring(old school) products. I don't think they jumped on the JK bandwagon early enough though.

It was bound to happen with their crappy service and crappy JK products. They were the 1st to come out with a JK kit, but boy it was bad (broken radius arms); then there was all the bushing issues that they blamed on the customer's install. The owner let his son run the customer service/tech operation, and the spoiled brat ran it to the ground.

Check out Rock Krawler. They definitely show the older jeeps some love with quality products - even sell coilover conversion kits for your YJ :Thumb: . And their customer service is awesome.

i was thinking ahead, i have rubicon express springs now, and with the way i drive they are bound to get bent... will be harder to find direct replacement. when i bend one or break a main will have to find alternative repairs... yay me lol....

I have the Rock Krawler steering kit on my Jeep. I'm really happy with it and I like the Abuse Proof Lifetime Guarantee. When the time comes to upgrade my suspension, I will be going with Rock Krawler.

Dang! My YJ is set up with RE springs! I do have a brand new spare but still!
I never had anything but great dealings with RE... I didn't realize it was so bad.

I thought you said Rock Krawler has stuff for older jeeps... They only go back to YJs.

It's the cycle of life. You can't be on top forever.

Younger, hungrier companies will step up (Rock Krawler). Old brands will be brought back from the dead (Trail Master).

The only constant is change.

Unfortunately, I was just about to look into getting some RE adjustable upper control arms, or I was going to buy their long arms and build a crossmember to utilize them. I do like TnT's Y-link crossmember, but I don't like the Y-link. I want straight lowers for driveline protection.

I was told RE had stopped producing product and was selling down what they had, and then closed. Don't know the story behind it, but most likely management and cash flow issues, like most business failures.

I wouldn't count on the arms protecting the front driveshaft much. Most rocks are round or edgy. You rarely see a front shaft damaged by rocks, it's more likely a rear shaft. Most drivers are more aware of their front axle position than their rear.

This means that RE stuff will be made in China just like all the companies that transamerica buys (pro-comp, Shittybuilt, Etc.).

I can see the 10 year-old Chinese kid in the labor camp squatting over a rock beating on a piece of metal trying to make a wok, but he messes up and is ordered to make a RE control arm instead :lol3:

I wonder if it will effect the "mopar" (rubicon express) lift kits for the JK's that jeep offered?
