Been a long time...
I haven't been on here in probably a year or so. I was introduced to BC109 by Mickey and Outlaw (I believe I am remembering correctly). A few months ago I ran across a member who was going down Millers as we were going up. Don't recall your name, but it was the day the chick was running around naked.
My 83 CJ7 is still about the same. Its got the stock 258, but I added the Howell TBI. Running 35" BFG's, which got their first taste of dirt on BC109. I've bought me an OX locker for the rear, but haven't had a chance to install it yet.
My newest Jeep purchase was a 1954 Willys Station Wagon. Original Super Hurricane L6 226 motor. Runs great. Her body is in great shape, some surface rust, no cancer, and hardly a door ding. Needs paint, because her second paint job, the clear-coat is peeling. I need to put some all terrains on her, then I'll take her on some mild off-road trips.
Just got home (Monday) from Panamint Valley. I was up there with 5 other Jeepers, 4 of which were CJ's. You know when you get that many CJ's together, someones gonna have issues. Fortunately, it wasn't me! We ran Pleasant Cyn, South Park, and Goler Wash.
I returned to work, for 10 straight days, then I'll be heading for Panamint Valley Days on Friday morning.
Hope to wheel with you guys again some time soon.
Steve
