2009 they went up "back door" 2010 down, 2011 up, 2012 down

2013,,, if they stick to this pattern,,, they'll be going up "back door"

The course has been posted, and yes, up Backdoor.

This is by far the most bad ass difficult KOH course yet. For our stock class we will run up Aftershock, up Hwy 19/20, across Fissure, down Jackhammer, up Chocolate Thunder, up Wrecking Ball, down Claw, up Big Johnson, down Balderdash, then up Elvis. This is after a ton of rough desert before getting to the trails, then a bunch of desert after the trails. Our race closes at 4:00 pm, that could be a tough goal if we have much trouble. Hopefully we have good luck and can run a clean race and finish by early afternoon.

The unlimiteds add Hell's Gate and Sunbonnet, and they have to run all of those twice, then one time each Backdoor/Resolution, up Spooners and down Outer Limits. With much trouble it could be difficult to finish by dark.

That will be a very interesting course for the EMC. I know you said that you've ran highway 19/20 on 33's, but we had all sorts of problems in the group at goatfest on 37+. I know we ran some harder options, but at times options seemed very limited.

The stories were good around the campfire.... stories of doing Sledge back in the day on 31s with no locker. At least these ones had more than three wheels attached and the engine worked. :thefinger: :thefinger: Now I didn't hear the original... but it was retold again and again around the campfire. lol
