Ok well i have an idea for the parade. What if we dress up the FJ as a sleigh since its the biggest vehicle basically and we can have kids dressed up as elves inside and you could be dressed up as santa. All of us jeeps could dress them up as reindeer and be "pulling" the Sleigh.

We were talking about getting a hummer as the sleigh and having the Jeeps/FJ towing it! Considering we all drive Hummer recovery vehicles! LOL!!!

Sounds good! My friend Aaron suggested doing the toy run in Oildale. He said they had done the Toys for Tots in Bako and the bikes are the highlight and any car clubs get left out of any mention and are not allowed into the fairgrounds. He is working on getting the info for me.

I also know a few people in the media and we were talking about having a "Stuff the 4X4's" promo for people to donate toys! What does everyone think of that idea? Who is in? How many vehicles want to participate?

The Santa idea would be great for the toy run but in the Christmas parade the rules state that there is only one Santa so we could only have elves. I have the info on who to contact for the Christmas parade and will be getting in touch with her.

Ok, I just called the lady for the Christmas parade and we missed the deadline for this year. It was Nov. 2nd. We also would have had a problem as "car clubs" were only allowed 5 vehicles! What BS!

Lets all focus on the Toys for Tots run! How many people are interested? If we do the stuff the 4X4 promo would you be able to leave your vehicle out somewhere for a day? I am also going to get prices on a banner for us. What design would look best, a square banner with the door sticker logo or a wide banner like the windshield sticker?

It has to do with the number of post not your actual join date.

I'm not sure what we do either. Maybe if someone knows anyone involved in the toy run the bikers do we can get some ideas.

The Toy Run is a toy donation drive for children that are less fortunate.

I have done the Motorcycle one before it is a nice event but I have heard from other car groups that it is really only geared toward motorcycles. I have heard that there is another toy run through Oldale that is geared more toward auto clubs.

My idea is to team up with some people in the media and see about having a big promotion i.e. "Stuff the 4x4" or something of the like. When I am in town these next few days I am going to contact the people I know and see how possible something like this will be.
