I suspected this from the start. Thats why I installed a B&M trans cooler on my auto JK. Cheap, and only took 45 minutes to install.

Desert Dog , did you get banned from JKF?

Yep,

I questioned why they were deleting information on some guys F250 axle build for a JK (which I was really interested in). Out of the blue, I get a chitty e-mail from from the administrator personally insulting me (complete with name calling and stating that I am too stupid to comprehend anything). I had never insulted anyone or posted in a disrespectful manner, or communicated with this individual in my life. I post in several gun and Martial arts forums and have never been banned or received a warning from a website in my life. I'm probably the most laid back dude you will ever meet.

Turns out that JKF is a sham. They delete all information about businesses and manufacturers that do not pay the site, and ban and delete anyone who questions the "net-god" administrator. Last month a post got deleted asking if there were any 4x4 clubs in the area, and got warned that info about other 4x4 organizations can not be posted without the administrators approval. The guy doing the f250 axle write-up mentioned that he used a part from a manufacture that didn't pay JKF and got scolded and most of his write-up deleted. Thats why they turn over so many members that won't drink the pony-tailed little biatches cool-aid. He even tries to keep non-JKF rigs off of trails when he and his worshipers are using them.

I Finally gave that little biatch WOL a big :thefinger: and parted ways. They have some good write-ups archived, at least on products approved by the "JK GOD".

I asked the guy at the dealer and he said he has not heard of any such recall. Yes, most those guys are not that bright, sorry to say.

did you take your jeep in finally?
did you have him look it up? sometimes they haven't heard of it because they haven't heard of it. :suprise:
you know what i mean? you might be the first one to mention it.
i didn't get anything in the mail about the recall but i did get one about the stock tow bar. i don't have either one, an automatic or a tow bar. the girl working in the service dept. asked if i had the stock tow bar because there is a recall on it. got the letter the next day.
but you would think they should know before us.

get your locker fixed?

They have had the jeep for a week tomorrow. Still have not fixed the locker. They are going to give me a new battery. My stereo MP3 freezes up and they said they can't seem to find the problem. I hate dealers. The guy before was going to get his rear diff serviced for $195.00. When it was my turn, I asked why so much for a diff service, and the service guy said the fluid is very expensive. What liers. Oh, well, I will drive by tomorrow and put some pressure on them. I also printed out what Bert put on this thread to show them the recall.

Yep, I got a recall about a stock tow bar also. Which I don't have.
I know the local dealer has put on a meet and greet thru the TrailBlazers, but that doesn't mean much to the off roaders who get nothing but grief from them. :hitfan:
