truckhaven

Postby AJ99 » November 25th, 2009, 5:46 pm

So my inlaws have some property down near salton sea, which is right by truckhaven and Ocotillo Wells OHV area. My inlaws and i were just talking and came to a conclusion that we need to build a place on the property and rent it out for people to go to either place. Would anyone here be interested in a place down south to stay at close to a good wheeling place?

(well Bert i knew you had a motor home lol so i figured this wouldnt be for you lol but ill make sure it has hookups for you LOL)
ya its gonna be a rental but im sure i can work something out for all of you on here LOL... Infectious discount. they are thinking of getting a mobile home on it or something like that. That way it isnt that big of an investment. Ill talk to them if they want a partner, im sure they would be very interested. I know the lake you cant swim in because its too salty but its still pretty cool to go out there. Truckhaven is right there and so is Ocatillo hills (spelling?). We want to see how many people would be interested in it before we actually start finding anything to put on it. My mother in law told me yesterday that she has been paying taxes on it since she and her husband inherited it from her inlaws and the inlaws have had it since the 50s or something like that just never built on it. There arent many houses out there in the area that the property is at. But i will talk to them more tomorrow and Mickey i will talk to them about you.

TruckHaven,.. lots of good wheeling there if you like dirt, steep and off camber. If any of you guy's have not been there on new years eve ya gotta go and check it out. All the clubs go there for new years and it's a great time. Tons of fire works too... :drinks:
