I.C.E. contacts.

Postby AJ99 » January 26th, 2010, 9:00 pm

Ok i think what Roy and Larry came up with is a great idea and a must have! We need to get at least 4 rigs and people that know our local areas pretty good to go find our local people that go on the trails by themselves. We need someone that will be the leader and main contact person to contact the others that will go find them. We would need everyone to post up what time they are leaving and time or return. I will be bringing this up at the next meet and greet. I feel it is a must have because there has been 3 or 4 times this winter i have heard of people missing that have gone up to the CA high country.

They should be branded an idiot if they wheel by themselves.

Taking a drive up Ranchria can hardly be considered wheeling... not to mention sometimes what's a guy to do? Some of y'all just do old to be spur of the moment...! Always gotta plan... boring! :thefinger: Lol lifes too short to live it on a schedule. You just gotta get out there and do it! Heck I've been wheeling solo all my life and have only been stranded twice... not to be considering I've been wheeling solo since I was 16. Lol don't get me wrong the buddy system is best, but wheeling is like sex! Its a great feeling and if u can't find someone to do it with, well than just like sex, u do it ur self! :thefinger: Lol I love metaphors.. :moon: . lol its like I told my buddies who came and rescued me, "if it weren't for me, y'all would be sitting home bored as hell, probably cause ur ball and chains wouldn't let u loose" lol they can thank me later lol am soo bad... lol

All kidding aside I think the idea proposed is great!!!!

I could set up another area just for people to post when they leave and then get back as well as peoples #'s to contact if stranded. I could make the page only visible to members of the site so peoples #'s can't be viewed by just anyone.

Let me know what you guys think.
