Is Freeway Ridge Accessible?

I will be in town for Christmas and was wondering if we could get to Freeway Ridge for a quick run. If so would anybody be up for it? It would prob be on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

I would go either tuesday or weds, maybe monday if I get back from Oxnard on sunday night. Im sure it would be accessible by next week, if it isnt already. Im still looking for a run up BC109, would like to do either of those two.

Nope, not yet. The land-slides are down the mountain from the trailhead. Dale says that Caltrans is going to work on it on Sunday if the weather holds. Also looks like there will be another round of storms next week, hope it doesn't ruin their progress. From going up the 155 to the lake yesterday for the dialysis rescue, it looks like rain at the higher elevations melted most of the snow, but its icy as hell.

It would be one hell of a mud/ice run on the ridge right now
