Taking the kids to Hungry Valley

My daughter couldn't go last time so I told the kids I would take them now. If anyone wants to go up there we'll be in a red TJ rubicon.

I got a new Gopro camera I want to test out on the bumper too.

Here is a video of Vic's Cat Trail. The sun was low when I took this one so it is a little dark. I didn't realize there is a rubber piece to insert into the mount. You can hear a clicking noise from the camera rocking a little in the mount.

The camera is in a water proof housing. Here is a video of the deep mud pit. The water was a lot deeper than I thought. It came up on top of the hood a little as we drove through.

Here is another of the cement hill climb and another trip through the water.

Here is one last video of just driving on some of the other stuff, like the frame twister trail. I like how it shows the little wave in the shallow water obstacle.
I'm happy with the new camera. I think the quality of the video is good. I actually wanted this camera for wakesurfing but it is too cold for that right now. The jeep was a good way to test it out.

yeah those Hero GoPro cameras are nice. The trip we just took to hungry valley last weekend of in the cab of my sami was from the gopro. I had it strapped to the head rest. I do get alot of feedback or distortion though if my sub is on inside the cab. But it came out nice.

Good video, I will have to try the bumper next.

I tried to take a video with it last weekend but the battery died before we got to the good part of the run.

I just watched the water video again. The water was really deep that day. Good thing I made it through, I wasn't so lucky last time. It isn't as much fun when you dont make it:)
