Swamp Lake trip

We had 13 rigs this year, smallest group we've had for many years. Doesn't matter how many, we always have a great time. We left Dinkey Creek Fri morning around 9:00 and got to Grouse Lake before 2:00, set up camp and started to chill. I took my two oldest grandsons for the first time, so that was pretty cool, and they had a blast. The boys got to catch some fish, shot BB guns, paddled around the lake in blow up boats, and played non-stop with new friends. We stayed there Fri and Sat nights, then packed up and headed out around 10:00 on Sun morning.

Here's a few pics, I didn't take many on the trail, mostly just in camp.

Wow that right there is what life is all about. I can't wait till my boy gets older and get him out there to enjoy the outdoor life. Now a days it's all about video games, computers, Internet, and malls. I don't know how many kids my 6 year old nephew knows that have never been camping, or go out into the woods for a walk or hike. Richard I bet those kids think the world of you, how many kids can say my grandpa does king of the hammers every year what does you're grandpa do for fun??? Fish? Lol. Awesome pics I wish I would of made it it looks beautiful.
