the mud can be crazy slick, like being on ice, more of problem in the afternoon after things thaw out

I was up there the day the road closed, while it was raining. It was pretty slick with all the mud, almost like driving on snow. I went off the trail at one point and had to make my own switch backs to get back on. It was really wet up there though, Im sure its dried off quite a bit by now. Im curious to see if there is still snow up in the higher elevation. With all the quail I jumped last trip just off the trail, I think it would be a good hunting spot for me and my pops if it gets easier.

Its 1am and I need to still install my front bumper I just painted....

Was not trying to scare you. You're JK is more than capable of running this trail. Just trying to let you know what to expect, even with aggressive mud tire there can be some serious pucker factor moments when muddy.
