Dude... the tie rod is an easy install. Pull the tire, remove the pin, loosen the bolt, and pound the knuckle till the TRE pops loose. Slide the new one in, tighten, add the pin, and put the wheel back on. Easy as pie. You can use the existing tie rod to get the length in the right ball park while both are off the Jeep.... but will want to adjust your toe while it is installed. You can now thank yourself for buying the PP piece, as it is adjustable on the heep.

Actually it's easier than that, no cotter pin on the stock tie rod ends.
Just like Brad said, loosen the nuts for the tie rod but don't take them off. Hit them with a BFH til they drop and then take the nuts off. I used the stock tie rod to get in the ball park as far as the toe goes. It really is an easy install, if you need a hand this weekend let me know.
