Sherman Trail. Sat June 21th. This is an Adopt-A-Trail Work run. Bring Shovel N Gloves. Of course you will get to wheel to!

Meet at the Chevron at the old Mesa Marin @ 6:30 and leave at 7:00am.

John and I will meet you Saturday to help clean the trail. Where is Sherman Trail????? Is it near the giant grove above Kernville?? Also, if you have time and not to tired after Saturdays clean up you can join us Sunday for our Lockwood run I just posted. I didn't see your posting before I posted ours or I would have postponed ours. See you Saturday morning.

yeah its a couple miles past Kernville ,the trail was burned pretty bad a couple years, the trailblazers ranger bob and i planted like 250 trees we got like half way up the trail we cut down over 60 trees that were blocking the trail, we have a few more trees to plant and more than likely cut down some more trees
you guys can meet the trailblazers at the Chevron at the old Mesa Marin @ 6:30 and leave at 7:00am. ill be at the trail head with the forest ranger.
ill go to lockwood too sounds fun !

what kind of tools should we bring? Shovel, ax, wench, chain saw????

shovel and some good leather gloves the trailblazers and ranger bob have chain saws ,the gear grinders out of ridgecrest will also be on the trail with us
