Official Sequoia Nat Forest travel map Published!!!!

The OFFICIAL travel plan and winter closure map for the forest was just published.

Freeway Ridge and Black Gulch are NOT closed in the winter, until you get to the other trails at higher elevations. The higher elevation trails will reopen on April 16th.

Rancheria is open all year to just before Davis Camp.

but be careful, because it is very easy to accidentally wander onto a closed trail. Fines will be HUGE for being caught on a closed trail.
