All I have is a 3.5"lift lift and some 35s with stock 3.21 gears and a manual trans. I had some trouble at a couple spots but like I said there are bypasses and alternate lines I used them. But you need the clearance most of all I think.

Ill be the first one to say you can go cheap and wheel with the beat of them. I have the budget loft from RE and it works great spend your money on shocks I have the 9000s and they work great as well. With the Jk you can go cheap and still have a pretty capable wheeler. You don't have to be like brad or DD and spend a million dollars to wheel for most trails.

It's going to be interesting to see driver skills with open diffs on jb and holcomb. My buddy hit holcomb last week, open diffs with 31's and said he needed a tug two times. Tilly and myself are in and maybe a few more trucks.

Yes... It'd be nice to see Kirk out. But... These tickets aren't from the dale, they come from SGV. So.... Show some respect. :thefinger:

The other thing if we can find a yellow post spot you can have a fire and camp 200' off the trail. I couldnt find one close to the route we are running.

so i havent been there but everyone is really on these "spots" is there no area close by off the "camp ground" that after hanging out and stuff we cant camp at...and...is it where you cant go in this camp ground unless you have a spot, cause if it is that anal...cant we find a place out of the way that we all can fit in

:camping:

important part is the trails and the rigs not where your sleeping. you will sleep when you get back home :dontknow:

Any one comming in the Ventura/ Oxnard chapter let me know if you want fire wood I can grab some from base. Ill even chop it for you for a nominal price of a 6-pack of good beer. :beermug: Its a lot cheaper than buying the stuff from the store.

Count me in! I finally got a CB mounted too. Now just need to get the antenna tuned.

I doubt I'll be camping, though. Which day you guys recommend? Saturday or Sunday?

Once again.... fuck yeah! This is going to be great.

Ill let Pete answer your question on which day, but I believe he plans on running the top on Saturday (john bull, Holcomb, gold mtn) and the bottom Sunday (dishpan, 2n17x, cleghorn) .

Aldo... I can bring my antenna tuner if you like... I have the nice rat shack one.... actually, might have a cheepie around too... if so, you can have it.

Okay Aldo... there you go. Pete doesn't recommend?

But... IMO, Saturday will be the more difficult day. JB and Holcomb are likely the hardest trails worth running and Cleghorn and 2n17x are the easiest. We also have lots of rigs without lockers. This could prove interesting on the harder obstacles, but they have lots of winches and don't care about body damage (I have successfully tricked them into thinking that chicks dig body damage... what a bunch of gullible tikes!) .

BTW... that recent video of me... that was really JB, so you now know what to expect. :thefinger: :stirpot:

Also, Caravan from VTA Area? What time would we leave/meetup?

Sure... when you want to come by?

Pete.... meetup? Please one locally, one in the Valley, and one near Pasadena (ask BOBBED BURB or APESHIT where is a good spot and if they want to carravan). From my house... about 3.5 hours to get there.
