[color=#FFFF00]Saturday September 10, 2011 we will be doing a night run, Freeway Ridge will be the location of the run, and the normal meeting spot the Chevron on 178 (PM me if you need ifo on the meeting spot) at 1900 hrs (7:00 pm) and leave for the trail head @ 1930 hrs (7:30 pm)
I would like to get a group pic before the run, so when you park at the Cheveron, pose your vehicles for the pictures, and I would like to get a group pic of everyone that attends.

[color=#00FF00]This run means a lot to me, 9/11 ignited the war on terrorism, and as many of you know, I was deployed twice to fight for this cause, and i am sure most of you, if not all of you know someone that was also deployed. Not to mention the thousands of lives that was lost on that tragic day. Don't do this run for me, do it for the Firefighters, Police men and women, the paramedics, EMT's, the civilians the volenteered to help out and lost their lives, the men on the United Airlines flight 93 that fought the terroist and caused their plane to go down killing everyone on board, but actually saving thousands of lives if that flight made it to its destination, but if you want to do it for me thats cool too. You get my point, share this information with everyone you know, I really want to make this an event that people talk about for a long time.

I heard that there are still fires burning in the canyon due to lightning. Any updates? I know the 155 to Greenhorn was closed this morning on the Caltrans website.

Well hubby says we are a no go. No motor for windshield wipers and add that to the fact he has to he at work at 6 and we may get stuck we have to back out. We will be thinking about you guys. Be safe! If something changes he will text somebody...
