Last chance/nightmare gulch 9/24-9/25

Went up with the intention of a leisure trip, camping seeing Bickel camp burro schimidt tunnel talc mines. Etc... Well so much for just that :) zak and I went through all the tougher spots, zak even did the v notch Which was pretty impressive. Then we did all our site seeing which was alot of fun too.

Sunday we decided to exit out nightmare gulch after Roger updated me about it still being open :). We get right to the T to drop down into the gulch and zak and I ran back into Roger matt and becca. They led the group down nightmare and we had a blast! For being a small xj I prolly shouldn't have followed them everywhere they went... But I did anyways ;) I ended up with a little bit of rock rash on my door and my oil pan/exhaust tried to show me how strong they were but slamming into a rock... Overall I myself had an amazing time and I learned that the first scratch may hurt the most but it IS just a jeep and I didn't take it on the trail to take all the high roads!! (just some)

Good times!!! I'm slowly removing the factory paint so I can give it a Krylon Camo job. And you guys can't call me a copycat, because my first deuce was krylon Camo two years ago....so I at least date back that far.

So, that looks like my old bumper....its gone now. Looking for some angle iron to put on the back, and mount a tow hitch to. Still need that spare tire carrier guys....help a brother out. No spare is No FUN.

Had a blast out there, and can't wait to see Becka's pics and video. I'm sure she got some great shots too.

Thanks again and looking forward to the next run. CALICO HERE WE COME!!!!!
