Early October 2011 entry

We spend a lot of time out exploring the trails......but sometimes.....the trail bites back.

So post up your worst damage of the month and we will all vote on it......Then point and laugh!

Early October 2011 entry

Okay.... No details just yet, but the preliminary report states a JK H2 model, that belongs to the club, went for a flippy floppy. Lorenzo is fine, no injuries.

What a nasty roll (rolled 5 times down a steep hillside), and an even nastier recovery. More pics to come.

Early October 2011 entry

Postby casaintsfan » October 3rd, 2011, 12:06 am

Not really sure how he happened to roll his jeep in that part of the trail, I'll let him tell his lie I mean story. Lol
But it was alot of work to get his rig ready for him to drive it off the trail.

I bet someone buys a cage.

Glad that no one was injured and the Jeep now gets some needed upgrades. 42s and coilovers.

And what a response! Three from Bako and an additional two ready from Ventura.

Early October 2011 entry

Postby h2osensei » October 3rd, 2011, 8:52 am

I will post some of my pics later, but I just wanted to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the ICE Team. I called and three hours later I had 3 well prepared rigs and knowledgeable crew at the top of Miller.

I hope I get to return the favor someday !!

Glad you're ok!!!!! I had a friend who dropped down a 70ft + steep hill like that and ended up in the ER with staples in his head...

Hope you get the jeep back on the road soon!

Yup, that was me. I was talking to you about the "Sluice Box" right?

Let me know if you're ever doing any runs out there. It's close to home, so I like going up there.
