Beadlocks & Beers at G&G Off-road

Postby Desert Dog » October 5th, 2011, 10:32 am

Hey guys, Richard is letting me have a Beadlock party at G&G on Tuesday 10/11/11 at 6:00pm.

Basically, if you have ever done beadlocks, you know how time-consuming and boring they can be. So Lets get together to put DDs beadlocks together in one night. Adult beverages, pizza, and sodas will be provided coutesy of MFDD Enterprises.

Please RSVP in this thread so I know how much to buy in advance.

Going:

1) Desert Dog
2) Goatman
3) Monepit
4) Whitesnake
5) Beck*a*Poo
6) t_long927

In addition to swapping tires on the beadlocks, we'll be taking a sawzall to DD's JK. So, if you've always wanted to wack apart someone else's Jeep, don't miss Tues evening. I hear the more beer he drinks the more he'll let us cut off. :wings:

:drinks:

They are a fucking bitch!!! SERIOUSLY!

When I did mine, I had four neighbors over... six hours later and god knows how many beers, we got all five done. I think the problem was we didn't find the little guy until the last couple of hours. He had this angry scream and when he focused it in the hammer, he was able to pound that last few inches on that no one else seemed to have any luck with. Yeah.... it's those last few inches that are the bitch. :!:

Oh yeah.... I had a tire shop repair a two plus inch sidewall tear... they used a machine and mounted the tire in a minute or so.

Hmm.... GJ should be in Bako right about now.

He told me he was dropping off Dexter, but maybe.... maybe he's giving Trevor a lap dance.

Wow.... I guess I always wanted to know who TREVOR went to when he was lonely.... who would have guessed it was GJ making house calls from Ventura.

What's always worked good for me and saved me a ton of time, is using a drill that has torque clutch settings. Put on the 1/2 inch socket adapter and keep going around as I increase the torque of the drill. Just before I get to the highest setting on the drill, I switch to the torque wrench and finish up with that.
