smittybuilt quality ?

Postby ToyCrawler » October 14th, 2011, 11:00 am

just priced out smittybilt XRC front/rear flared fenders and the side steps on Amazon. Its $700 cheaper than poison spyder. Now the question is how good of quality is it? would it be worth paying the more money for PS gear?
I really like PS stuff but not sure if I could justify spending that much more. Its going on my daughters YJ which will see "light" wheeling.

I had both front and rear fenders, only front now(got rid of rear for stretch), and they are tough... I use my front as rock slides and haven't had any issues what so ever. People here will vouch for me that I use my rig.. only problem I had was the power coating was flaming like crazy for no reason. I bought them when they first came out and Apparently they had powder coating issues in the first batch. But i hear they fixes that issue.. i would definitely by another set. just my opinion..[*]
