A sad day for this town and my family.

A place to just hang out and talk about anything.

A sad day for this town and my family.

Sorry I have been absent from the forum for the past couple days.

I received a call early Monday morning that my grandmother had passed away. I was devastated and getting ready to head back to Bakersfield to be with my family when my family and I learned what really happened.....

I am posting up the news articles which will explain what happened. I have to be careful what I put out on a public forum due to the ongoing investigation.

Sadly, due to this event, we will more than likely not be making it to the Ball and Chain Run this year. I will miss you guys and hope to wheel with you again soon.

Horrible!!!

I hope they fry that dirt bag who did it.

There had been a lot of this going on all over the place. I have been reinforcing my house security and putting a plan in place with the family in preparation for events like this. Anyone who can, should have a big dog in the house.

My condolences to your family GJ. I only met your grandparents once, but they don't make people that great anymore.

Wow GJ that is horrible I am so sorry for your loss! It's the kind of feeling I don't wish on anyone and I pray that the guy who did it doesn't go slowly and suffers greatly. If you need anything were here for you!

I'm sorry GJ. I'm getting so burnt out on hearing stuff like this in Bakersfield. It's gotten way out of control. It's sickening.
