Electric Power plug in 8.8?

Electric Power plug in 8.8?

OK I picked up an 8.8 out of a 2 wheel drive 97 explorer and it has a electric 12volt plug on Pumpkin. What would it be for? haven't had time to pull it apart yet to see what it is. Anyone who have any guesses

Dont worry about it... I left mine unpluged. You dont need it.

order a freeze plug for it. Ecgs carries sells the plugs they use for the 8.8s. I sure wouldnt leave it open. And ya its for the abs
