What do you mean you cant drive a 5 speed up hills????? I drive mine everywhere. Ya I do stall a lot and I mean A LOT, but its a new chalange. You should try it first before you pull it out at least once.

You will never regret getting the auto. No one has ever crawled an auto and said "shit, that was too easy, I wish I had a stick"

I agree with dd I do with I had an auto but the manual does add a certian level of skill/ frustration/ wheel spin to the trip.

Yes... you are frustrating on the trail. Hmm... maybe just fustrating in general. :thefinger:

As already stated.... no one ever regrets an auto as there are very few situations I can think of where I thought to myself, damn, wish I had a manual and even then, if I had a manual, I'd have likely said the same going the other way (think losing drive going vertical in an auto, then think about working a clutch while you are vertical... both would bring the suck, just in different ways).

Im not going. I just read the 8 page application form. Stupid! No tires bigger than 37".

Way to many rules for me. Sounds way to detailed. Have fun, if they let you.

I have always tried to avoid Big Bear during this event. The trails are a huge cluster f@k.

AHH, DD , that's part of the entertainment. you know you can do all the trails
in big bear, worth doing, in one day. the cluster f@ck slows things down a little, so relax, have an extra cocktail or 2, and have some fun at others expense :lol3: sometimes i really enjoy the crowd scenes @ the rock garden
