in big bear, worth doing, in one day. the cluster f@ck slows things down a little, so relax, have an extra cocktail or 2, and have some fun at others expense
sometimes i really enjoy the crowd scenes @ the rock garden[/quote]Why would there be carnage there? I went there in December, at night, with snow and ice on the ground, by myself and went to the top and back down, through the rock garden in both directions and had no problems on 35" tires. I admit that I went slow and picked the safest lines that I could find, but if I deliberately went looking for the most difficult lines, it would be impassable on 42" tires. I mean there are Jeep sized boulders out there. Is it because people are running stock tires and no lift?

As an aside, I would actually like doing those trails again, but that is the weekend of the ALMS races at Laguna Seca and Nissan is throwing this lilttle shindig that I've been planning to go.

there will be 200 or more jeeps with different build levels, from stock to semi-built.
